Dopamine is 2-20 mcg/kg/min. Is this method for calculating a mid to low dose?
I am an EMS educator in Dallas. Here is a video of me showing how I teach the calculation. https://youtu.be/VhuNToaq0l8
Hi Mike,
It seems like when I changed web hosts, some of the pages did not transfer well, and the bottom portion of the infographic was cut off! I am very glad you posted this comment, or else I wouldn’t have known. The formula in the infographic will determine the 5 mcg/min dose for a patient. If you wanted to give 2.5, you could cut the dose in half, or double it for 10 mcg/min. Hope this makes sense. I will have to go through all of the infographic pages and make sure that they are not messed up either. Thanks again! -Owen
